Richard helps individuals and businesses pursue their financial goals. He helps his clients decide on and implement financial strategies that make sense for them.
Rich believes there is no cookie-cutter financial plan for everyone. Everyone's needs and goals are different. What may make sense for one person may not make sense for his client.
Rich is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant (CFP®), and a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
He has instructed various courses at Suffolk University and Merrimack College for those professionals trying to obtain the CFP® designation and the CEBS designation. He finds teaching very rewarding and it really keeps him sharp and up to date on related topics.
Before becoming affiliated with New England Investment & Retirement Group, Inc., Rich had his own financial planning practice and worked for Waddell & Reed. He has over 10 years of experience working with retirement plans at companies like Aetna Life Insurance Company, Deloitte & Touche, LLP, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Rich is very familiar with what small business owners are going through because he owns and operates a small but profitable customer service business that helps businesses train their employees to provide their customers with the best customer experience possible.
Rich is married and has a eight-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son. He is an avid skier and is struggling to improve his golf game. You can often find him during the summer on Cape Cod visiting his parents. He enjoys reading about the baby boomers and the greatest transfer of wealth in history, which will be here before we know it.
